MarginQuote respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the MarginQuote mobile application may store or process and how that information is used.
Information You Enter
MarginQuote may store information you enter into the app, including business name, labor rate, target profit margin, minimum margin settings, job names, material costs, labor costs, other job costs, customer quote amounts, and saved job history.
Local Data Storage
The current version of MarginQuote is designed primarily to store this information locally on your device. The current version does not require a MarginQuote user account.
How Information Is Used
- Calculate job costs and recommended selling prices.
- Calculate expected profit and profit margins.
- Analyze customer counteroffers.
- Save and display prior job calculations.
- Remember application settings.
Personal Information
MarginQuote does not intentionally require sensitive personal information. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into job names or other fields.
Data Sharing
MarginQuote does not sell user information. The current version does not intentionally share user-entered job information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Data Deletion
Users may delete individual saved jobs from Job History or use Clear Saved Quotes in Settings to remove locally stored quote information. Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored application data, subject to device and operating-system backup behavior.
Future Features
If future versions add cloud synchronization, user accounts, analytics, subscriptions, advertising, or other online services, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those services and any additional data practices.
Security
Reasonable efforts are made to design MarginQuote so locally stored information remains protected. No electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting access to their devices.
Children
MarginQuote is intended for business and professional use and is not directed toward children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as MarginQuote gains new features or services. Revised policies will include an updated effective date.
